The following is the result of the Chief Executive Election held on 25 March 2007:
Number of votes given to Candidate No. 1, Mr. LEONG Kah Kit Alan, is 123.
Number of votes given to Candidate No. 2, Mr. TSANG Yam Kuen Donald, is 649.
In accordance with section 28 of the Chief Executive Election Ordinance (Cap. 569), the Returning Officer publicly declared on 25 March 2007 that Mr. TSANG Yam Kuen Donald was elected in the above-mentioned election.
