Report on the Recommended Delineation of Geographical Constituencies
for the 2008 Legislative Council Elections


In respect of the 2008 Legislative Council Elections, the Chief Executive-in-Council has endorsed the recommendations submitted by the Electoral Affairs Commission on how the five geographical constituencies are to be delineated.

The recommendations are set out in a two-volume report.

Volume 1 is the report proper, which describes how the Commission works out the proposed delineation of the boundaries of geographical constituencies, sets out the recommendations on the boundaries and names of the constituencies and the reasons for its recommendations.

Volume 2 contains the list of recommended geographical constituenciesmaps and showing the recommended boundaries and names for the constituencies.

The report is also available for public inspection at each District Office and the Registration and Electoral Office during office hours.
