Report on the Recommended Constituency Boundaries

For the 2019 District Council Ordinary Election, the Electoral Affairs Commission (“EAC”) has submitted the Report on its recommendations on the delineation of 452 constituency boundaries to the Chief Executive. The Government has tabled the Report at the Legislative Council as required by law.
The Report is published in three volumes:
Volume 1,The Report, primarily describes how the proposed delineation of the boundaries of District Council Constituency Areas (“DCCAs”) was worked out and sets out the EAC’s recommendations on the boundaries and the names of the DCCAs with the reasons for its recommendations.
Volume 2 contains the maps of all administrative districts showing the recommended boundaries and names of each DCCA and the boundary descriptions of the DCCAs.
Volume 3 records all written representations.
The Report is also available for public viewing during ordinary business hours at the Registration and Electoral Office.
